Nothing tests a battery like a Barrie cold snap. A battery that starts fine in September can leave you stranded in a January parking lot at -25. We test batteries, charging systems, and starters with professional equipment and install NAPA batteries backed by a nationwide warranty.
Beyond batteries, our technicians trace and repair electrical faults that other shops give up on: parasitic drains, wiring damage, faulty grounds, and module issues.

Batteries & Electrical questions, answered
How long do car batteries last in Ontario?
Typically 4 to 6 years, and cold winters shorten the high end. If your battery is past 4 years old, have it load-tested each fall before the temperature drops.
My battery keeps dying overnight. Is it the battery?
Not always. A parasitic drain, like a module that never sleeps, can kill a healthy battery. We measure the drain and isolate the circuit instead of just selling you a new battery.
Battery or alternator: how do I tell which is bad?
If a boost gets you going but the vehicle dies while driving, suspect the alternator. If it cranks slowly on cold mornings, suspect the battery. We test both in minutes and show you the numbers.
